Strategy from someone
who's actually built it.

I've shipped products, led teams, and sold a company. I help technology leaders navigate AI strategy, product management, and go-to-market — from someone who's done it in production, not just in theory.

Consulting

Where I can
move the needle.

I work with technology companies, health systems, and founders who need strategic guidance that goes beyond frameworks — grounded in what it actually takes to build and ship.

01

AI Strategy

I help organizations cut through the hype and build AI that works in production. Data foundations, governance, workflow integration, agentic AI readiness — from someone who's built clinical AI at scale and lived the gap between demo and deployment.

02

Product Management

I've run product at Sumo Logic, AWS, and Milliman — from zero-to-one builds to enterprise SaaS at scale. I help product leaders sharpen roadmaps, accelerate decisions, and build teams that ship with conviction rather than consensus.

03

Product Marketing

Positioning that actually lands. I've launched enterprise SaaS products across observability, cloud, and healthcare — built the messaging, ran the launches, trained the sales teams. I help companies find the story that sells and make it stick.

Fix the Foundation

Why Healthcare AI Fails — and What Makes It Work

40 million people a day ask AI chatbots about their symptoms. The models are capable. The data underneath them is not. Healthcare AI isn't failing because the technology isn't good enough — it's failing because the foundation is broken. And when agentic AI arrives, broken foundations become a patient safety issue.

Practitioner.
Not a theorist.

I founded Pluritem Health in 2021 to solve a problem I couldn't stop thinking about: Medicare Advantage health plans managing care for millions of people, still running on spreadsheets and phone calls and data locked in silos. I built CareFlowIQ — a clinical AI platform using NLP, predictive analytics, and workflow automation — and sold the company to Milliman in 2024. I now lead it as CEO inside one of the world's foremost actuarial and healthcare analytics firms.

"I'm not describing a future state. I'm building in it."

Before founding Pluritem, I spent seven years at Sumo Logic leading machine learning and AI product initiatives — anomaly detection, recommendation engines, log intelligence at scale — and served as Business Lead at AWS SaaS Factory, advising SaaS companies on architecture, strategy, and go-to-market. Before that: BladeLogic (acquired by BMC for $800M), EDS, Northrop Grumman, Loudcloud.

I hold an MEng in Computer Science from Cornell University (John and Fannie Hertz Fellow) and a BA in Physics and Mathematics, Summa Cum Laude, from Appalachian State. I created and hosted Masters of Data — 75+ episodes with worldwide listenership. I live in Asheville, NC with my wife and two kids, and I think the best consulting happens when someone's been in the room where the hard decisions get made.
